Artificial Intelligence is revolutionising business models and corporate cultures. It has also become a governance, risk and strategy issue for supervisory boards.

As the EU AI Act reshapes regulatory expectations and companies accelerate AI adoption across their operations, supervisory board members are increasingly expected to oversee not only the opportunities created by AI, but also the associated risks relating to cybersecurity, data protection, accountability and compliance. At the same time, geopolitical tensions, growing cyber threats and the race for AI leadership are creating a more complex and polarised operating environment.
